What I have learned is that healing happens on many levels and is often a lifelong journey to a better understanding of ourselves. I found that the combination of medicine and creativity, restores the connection between body, mind and soul.
what I've learned
Healing is so much more than diagnosing and treating disease with medicine and surgery. Healing is also about remembering our connection with our souls and nature and taking care of ourselves from a place self-acceptance and self-love. I support integrative and natural approaches that support body, mind and soul to restore health and create a greater sense of well-being.
Creativity allows me to engage with the burning questions I have about life, in a playful manner. Creativity is born from curiosity and through the process of experimenting, failing and trying again, something surprising very often emerges in the form of a poem, sculpture or print.
The creative process became my personal path to healing.
I feel deeply connected to the feminine principle in creation that wants to embrace, protect, nurture, and nourish. This living lifeforce invites us to reclaim our place in the tapestry of the bigger mater ('mother' or 'womb') in very real and practical ways by taking care of ourselves from an inner sanctuary of self-acceptance and self-love.
