creating your dream

Press the pause button, become silent and be present to yourself. In this space, something new is waiting to emerge. Can you hear the whisper?

Silence reminds you that you are so much more than your normal ‘busyness’. You are a human being and not a human doing. In becoming silent you remember that.

Music is born in the silence between the notes. The brief pause between the in- and out-breath carries the promise of both life and death.

All acts of creation need moments of rest. Your life is a work of art and no different from writing music, painting or sculpting.

To create a life of wholeness (health) and meaning there need to be moments of solitude and space. These moments provide the commas in the sentence, the full stop at the end of your day.

In order to figure out what it is you really, really want, it is necessary to listen first. ‘Listening with the ear in your chest’, as the Sufi poet Rumi says.

Can you give yourself permission to stop for a moment? To allow for that next best expression of yourself to emerge? Do you even allow yourself to dream about that next possibility? What is it you really, really want to create in your life?

Sit back for a moment, close your eyes, allow your breath to move softly in and out and welcome the dream.
